On 12 February 2009, Colgan Air Flight 3407 stalled at 2,200 feet and plunged into a residential area near Buffalo, New York. There were no survivors from the plane and 1 person on the ground was killed. Several critical errors made by the flight crew may have been the result of fatigue.
Type of aircraft: Bombardier DHC8-402 Q400.
Cause of disaster: Stall caused by pilot error.
