Descriptions:

The P51D Mustang "Jumpin Jacques" of team Hangar 11 was built in 1944 and was meant for the USAF in England. However, she was brand new shipped to Italy to the famous The Tuskegee Airmen’ group, all African-Americans. 15th Air Force. After the war she served the Air National Guard to support the Korean conflict. Taken out of service in 1956 she was sold a year later to Whiteman Enterprises in California who have flown 24 years (!) with her. Through employment in Colombia in 1989, she came into the hands of the Frenchman Jacques Bourret Air Retro. He was the man who renamed the Mustang to ‘Jumpin Jacques’. A really big restoration is never committed, therefore she still flies with the scars from her turbulent past.
